Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2, 2026
EverKeep is a service provided by EverKeep, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company ("EverKeep", "we", "us", "our"). EverKeep, LLC is the data controller of the personal information described in this notice. We take your privacy seriously and built EverKeep so you decide who can see what — and when.
1. What we collect
When you use EverKeep, we collect:
- Account information: your name, email address, and (optionally) phone number.
- Policy details you add: insurer, policy type, policy number, coverage amount, beneficiaries, and any notes you choose to record.
- Documents you upload: policy PDFs and related files you store in your account.
- People you invite: the names and email addresses of family members or agents you grant access to.
- Usage data: basic information about how you use the service (pages viewed, actions taken) so we can keep EverKeep working reliably.
Payment information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, billing details (such as your name, billing email, country, and the last four digits of your card) are collected and processed by our payment processor, Stripe, Inc. EverKeep does not see or store your full card number. Stripe processes that data under its own privacy policy — see Stripe's Privacy Policy. We receive only the metadata we need to provision and manage your subscription (customer ID, subscription status, period dates, and the last four digits of the card on file).
2. How we use your information
- To provide the EverKeep service to you and the people you invite (legal basis: performance of our contract with you).
- To send transactional messages such as account confirmations, password resets, and renewal reminders (legal basis: performance of our contract).
- To keep EverKeep secure, prevent fraud, and improve reliability and the product experience (legal basis: our legitimate interests).
- To send marketing communications where you have opted in (legal basis: your consent — you can withdraw it at any time).
- To comply with tax, accounting, and other legal obligations (legal basis: legal obligation).
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your policy data for advertising.
3. Who can see your information
By default, only you can see the information in your EverKeep account. Information becomes visible to others only when you explicitly invite them as a beneficiary, co-owner, or agent — and only the records you assign to them.
We share information with service providers (such as our cloud hosting and email delivery providers) strictly as needed to run EverKeep, and only under contracts that require them to protect your data.
We may also disclose information to professional advisers (legal, accounting) and to authorities where required by law.
4. Storage and security
Your data is stored on encrypted infrastructure. Connections to EverKeep are protected with TLS, and sensitive fields are encrypted at rest. We follow industry best practices for access control, but no system is 100% secure — please use a strong, unique password and protect your email account.
5. Your rights
You can, at any time:
- View and edit the information in your account.
- Revoke access from anyone you previously invited.
- Export your data in a portable format.
- Delete your account and all associated data.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@geteverkeep.com.
6. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we're required to retain it for legal or security reasons.
7. Children
EverKeep is not intended for use by children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or in the app before the changes take effect.
